Join us for our annual Year 12 summer residential.
Meet other students from across the country, live and sleep onsite in halls of residence, try subject tasters, take part in social activities and lots more.
Our subject workshops are a great opportunity to learn more about your subject of interest and experience student life at the University.
You’ll attend 4 workshops, which are all practical, interactive, and taught by lecturers who run those courses.
You’ll gain hands-on experience which can be included in your personal statement if you decide to apply through UCAS.
The Year 12 Residential has subject-specific strands that change each year – students need to pick 1 to attend on their application form. The options are:
It’s your choice as to how you use your downtime in between subject sessions.
Get a team together to play basketball on our courts, battle it out over UNO in our student lounge, or hang out in The Zone-our gaming room where you can play the latest PS4 and Xbox games.
On the final night, we’ll take you off campus into Cheltenham to our local bowling and arcade centre for some fun and friendly competition.
We understand that university can be a daunting experience.
You may have questions about how you’ll fund your degree, how Higher Education can help your career, or what support is available to you if you’re struggling with mental health.
Our Q&A support sessions are a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and discuss concerns with our team.
During your time with us, you’ll be supported by our team of student ambassadors.
They are all current students studying at the University and will have a room on each floor of the accommodation you’ll be staying in.
This means you’ll have 24-hour support available to you if you need it. They’ll be available to answer any questions and will accompany you to your subject sessions so there’s no chance of getting lost.
