Whether you’re waiting patiently for our next on-campus open day, fancy a sneak peek, or are unable to visit us in person, you can access our virtual open day on-demand. Simply use the button below to begin. We hope it brings to life what we’re all about here at the University of Gloucestershire.

Why come to an open day?

University of Gloucestershire open days have been designed to inform and inspire you and to help you make the right decision about your next step. You'll find out what it's like to be a student here and how you can develop your own unique career plan.

Student ambassadors

A key feature of an open day is your chance to meet our team of student ambassadors. These current first, second and third year students will be on-hand to give you up-to-the-minute advice and guidance on what it's really like to study here. Find out anything from the best place for quiet study on campus to the hottest night spots, all from the people who've been here and experienced it already.

Course sessions

Meet our lecturers and students and get a real insight into what it's like to study here.

One to one advice

Visit the Open Day Hub and get tailored advice from lecturers and representatives from Your Future Plan, Finance, Accommodation, Admissions and Student Support teams, plus the Students' Union among others.

Explore the campus

During our open days, you can take a look around our campus with one of our current students, or a self-guided tour taking in our outstanding facilities, teaching areas, social spaces and accommodation options. You can also visit our new, off-campus accommodation - Pittville Student Village in Cheltenham and Blackfriars Residences in Gloucester. Pittville is the result of a £38 million investment and features 600 rooms as well as a bar, shop and gym. Blackfriars is a mix of brand new townhouses, flats and studio bedrooms in the heart of Gloucester.

Can't make it to an open day?

If you’re unable to make it to an Open Day, you're welcome to book a campus visit where we will have current students on hand to show you around. You can also get a feel for all our campuses by taking a virtual tour before you visit.
