How to apply

Applying via an international representative (agent)

University of Gloucestershire works with a network of official contracted representatives (agents) across the world.

Approved education agencies/counsellors

The network of official contracted representatives (agents) that UoG works with across the world are approved education agencies/counsellors and can provide you with information on our courses, entry requirements and the application process.

They can also assist with submission of documentation, communications with the University and visa support. They typically represent a portfolio of universities and receive a commission payment from the University as remuneration for the services they offer, and they are trained and monitored by the University.

Many students chose to appoint an agent to help them to apply to the University, but it is not obligatory, and we welcome direct applications, too.

Agent listings

You can find the list of our agents and their contact details by following the link below then finding the page for your country or region.

If an agent is not listed on these pages, the University does not have a contract with them and cannot endorse their services.

Guide to applying via an agent

If you’re thinking of using the services of an agent to assist with your application, we encourage you to read the following Study UK Guide.

Agent responsibilities

University of Gloucestershire expects every contracted agent to act in the best interests of their student clients.

Your agent should:

  • Be honest and transparent when they are providing counselling services
  • Give advice based on your personal situation and your future study and career plans
  • Provide you with up-to-date information on the courses available at University of Gloucestershire and entry qualifications
  • Provide accurate and complete information at every stage of your application journey so that you can make an informed choice
  • Respect your decisions and choices and act accordingly
  • Maintain regular and open communication with you throughout your admissions journey

Your agent should not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Guarantee you a place on a course or a scholarship at the University
  • Ask you to pay tuition fees or deposits directly to them
