To meet University of Gloucestershire’s English language entry requirements, international students will need to have achieved one of the qualifications listed below.
All qualifications accepted are assessed based on their equivalence to the UKVI IELTS (Academic) Test. For more information, please read our English Language Policy.
The UK Home Office publish a list of SELTs that can be used to support a Student Route visa application. This list is as follows:

University of Gloucestershire will consider an English language proficiency letter or a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from students who have studied at one of the top 100 Indian universities listed on the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF).
The validity for these MOI letters is 10 years. This means that the student providing the MOI letter must have completed their degree within last 10 years.

Nigeria
University of Gloucestershire will consider an English language proficiency letter or Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from Nigerian students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree at any recognised Nigerian university. The validity for the degree is 10 years.
Ghana
University of Gloucestershire will consider an English language proficiency letter or Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from Ghanaian students who have completed their bachelor’s degree at any recognised Ghanaian university. The validity for the degree is 10 years.
Pakistan
University of Gloucestershire will accept MOI/EPL letters as proof of English from the 50 Pakistani universities listed below. The validity for these MOI/EPL letters is 5 years. This means that the student providing the MOI/EPL letters must have completed their degree within last 5 years.
Vietnam
University of Gloucestershire will consider an English language proficiency letter or Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter from Vietnamese students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree at one of the Vietnamese universities listed below. The validity for the degree is 10 years.
