Travel expenses claim terms and conditions

  1. Offer holders who reside outside a 40 miles radius from the campus at which their event is being held are eligible to claim a £30 payment towards their travel costs.  
  1. If your travel costs exceed the £30 payment, you will be solely responsible for the remaining costs. 
  1. Eligible for 2023 Offer Holder Days exclusively. 
  1. Travel expenses support should be requested after attending the event. Please email studentrecruitment@glos.ac.uk. Completed forms must be returned within 14 calendar days of attendance in order to claim.
  1. Offer Holder must register on the day with a member of staff to claim travel expenses. 
  1. Contributions towards travel will be reimbursed after the event has taken place. 
  1. A completed Offer Holder Day travel expense claim form will need to be completed. This will need to be requested, and subsequently returned to studentrecruitment@glos.ac.uk.  
  1. Expenses can be paid into a bank account owned by someone other than the student (e.g. a parent) however we would require the details of the account holder. 
  1. Payments will appear as UoGStudent on bank statements. Payments will be made on a Wednesday and may take up to 14 days to clear from the point of being signed off by budget holders. 
  1. We will be unable to accept  any claims for travel expenses more than 14 days after the event.
