Entry requirements
We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your qualifications match with in the UK education system, so the following country-specific information should help you decide which level of study is most appropriate for you.

Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate/Indian School Certificate/Standard XII from a recognised board in India with an overall score of 50-65%.
English language: To be eligible for an IELTS waiver, successful completion of High School Secondary Certificate/Standard XII with 70% achieved in English from the following recognised boards: CISCE, CBSE, Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, West Bengal.

Successful completion of High School Secondary Certificate/Standard XII from a recognised board with a minimum average of 65%
Successful completion of a recognised International Foundation programme
Successful completion of the International Baccalaureate (IB) with between 27 and 34 points
Successful completion of three A Levels

Successful completion of a 3 or 4 year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55-60% from a reputable university.

Successful completion of a 3 or 4 year bachelor degree with a minimum of 55-60% from a reputable university. For Doctorate and PhD admission, applicants must have successfully completed a master’s degree with a good grade in a related subject field or hold relevant work experience. In addition some programmes may require work experience and/or a strong portfolio of work. Applicants are expected to submit a research proposal.

We will consider an English waiver for students who have completed an undergraduate degree from one of the following universities: The University of Mumbai; The University of Delhi; The University of Calcutta; The University of Bangalore; Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly The University of Pune); The University of Chennai/Madras; Osmania University; The University of Goa; University of Kolkata/Calcutta; National Law School of India University (NLSIU).
