Richard Law

Senior Lecturer in Law

Studying, practising and teaching Law has proved to be both interesting and challenging. I endeavour to inculcate students with my enthusiasm.

Biography

Immediately before teaching in Higher Education, I worked as a practising solicitor, specialising in personal injury litigation. My interest in teaching developed and now I enjoy the challenge of conveying legal concepts and assisting students in enhancing their learning techniques. I am involved in advising students on potential careers. I also encourage students to participate in inter-university moot competitions. A moot is an appeal and students represent the respective parties and present their arguments to a judge.
