Saba joined the University of Gloucestershire as a senior lecturer after 11 years in private practice as a litigator. Her specialism is public international law and researches international human rights law and corporate business ethics.


After qualifying as a solicitor in 1999, Saba worked in private practice until 2010 as a litigator, with experience in regulatory law and judicial reviews.  Her recent experience is in public international law, with cases including clients who had been unlawfully detained and harmed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Saba was involved in landmark, cutting edge cases which have extended the application of the European Convention of Human Rights.
