Liz‘s background is as a director and writer specialising in intermedial and immersive theatre. She’s founder director of the performance company Void and has supervised post graduate study in contemporary performance.


As a theatre director Liz has run her own touring company as well as working on large scale commissioned performances. Recent projects include The Two Sided Boy, a digital opera shown at the as part of the ‘Opera and the Media of the Future Conference’ at Glyndebourne, and Babble, a performance which took place partly in an online virtual world and toured to 12 countries. She writes for several academic journals and presents papers at conferences.
