Dr Esmé Wood is an Occupational Therapist and Senior Lecturer at University of Gloucestershire where she has developed and co-written the new BSc Occupational Therapy course. She is an experienced teaching and research academic with clinical expertise in dementia care and health technology.

Dr Wood has led multi-agency research projects in both academic and commercial research sectors. Her research interests are varied and include human factors in the development and utilisation of health technologies, nature based therapies, the therapeutic use of outdoor green and blue spaces, creative health and occupational science.
