I am a Senior Lecturer and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy delivering the newly approved Operating Department Practice programmes.

I am a Senior Lecturer and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy delivering the newly approved Operating Department Practice programmes at University of Gloucestershire which I joined in November 2020. I also maintain my clinical skills as an ODP as my profession is my passion and specialise in anaesthetics, obstetrics and orthopaedics across all threes areas within the perioperative setting.

I qualified as an ODP in 2010 enjoying my role and training staff and students within theatres across multiple Teaching hospitals in London and became a Practice Educator. On enjoying teaching, I became a Senior Lecturer to deliver Operating Department Practice programmes in Birmingham and the South West and I am passionate about the progression of the ODP profession. I have been involved in the development of the Operating Department Practice Degrees, Apprenticeships and Post-graduate Perioperative curriculum, offering new routes into the profession as well as Post-graduate opportunities in Perioperative Care.
