Harry is one of the two placement students at CCRI. He is currently pursuing his degree in Environmental Science at the University of Leeds. Harry has developed a keen interest in specific modules such as Managing Biodiversity, Climate Change, and GIS.
In 2019, an opportunity ignited Harry’s elation for rural research and his desire to explore it further with work experience at the Centre of Ecology & Hydrology. He collaborated with an ecologist on the National Honey Monitoring Scheme. The scheme involved identifying various species of plant pollen in honey and then examining a bee’s diet and assessing the risks of pathogen/pesticide exposure.
