Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to contribute to the field, she furthered her education by embarking on a Ph.D. in Strategic Hospitality Management. Her dedication to fostering talent led her to spearhead the launch of the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at University of Gloucestershire. In addition to her academic endeavours, she actively facilitated collaborations between UoG and Hong Kong Higher Education Institution.

Teaching has included students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the subject areas of strategic hospitality and tourism management, international destination management, global hospitality and tourism operations management and international marketing strategy.
She is currently serving as an external examiner for a DBA research student at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David. Previously, she participated as an external member of the panel for the periodic review of undergraduate Hospitality, Tourism, and Leisure Events programme at the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff. Additionally, she held the position of external examiner for the international MBA program at the University of Wales and serviced as an external examiner for a candidate pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree at the University of Sunderland.
