I am interested in contemporary art and design practices as means of understanding the world around us: making visible our current concerns and pre-figuring ways in which we might respond and reimagine. I am a lecturer and researcher, and have been teaching in art departments for many years, lecturing in art theory, contextual studies and studio practice.
Lecturer in History and Theory of Art and Design, with a focus on contemporary critical practice. Teaching into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Design, Fine Art, Visual Communication, Landscape Architecture.
My recent research considers how contemporary art address the ecology of our digital environment, as an ethical as well as aesthetic practice. This work is shared through publication, conference presentations and symposia.
