Kerri Holden

Lecturer In Healthcare Science

An experienced and compassionate leader, educator, and musculoskeletal clinician. I am passionate about learning and helping people achieve their potential. An inclusive and effective leader.

Biography

As a creative person with a curious mindset, I love learning and problem-solving. This led me to a career in healthcare and education. I qualified as an Osteopath in 2017 and was fortunate to undertake a placement at Victoria University, Australia.

Since graduating, I have been working in musculoskeletal healthcare and education. Including time as a service lead within Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS. I led the implementation of simulation-based mandatory training with industry-leading approaches and gained recognition as a valued leader.

Before qualifying, I worked in different industries, including the creative, public, and technology sectors. This encouraged me to develop various skills, such as communication, strategic and organisation planning, international teamwork, analysis, and quality improvement.

I am passionate about developing innovative, inclusive education that engages and empowers learners. Sessions encourage collaboration and interaction with contemporary evidence, clinical practice, and current theory.
