Rebecca qualified as a paramedic in January 2009, and took up employment with West Midlands Ambulance Service. Initially working on a DCA, then as a community paramedic, and then rapid response vehicle.
Mentoring paramedic students was a key focus from early in Rebecca’s career and this developed into a keen interest in education, leading to her joining the University of Worcester as a Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science in October 2017.
Rebecca has always been a passionate supporter of the move of paramedic education into the Higher Education sector and looks forward to working alongside University of Gloucestershire to continue its development.
