Dr Katerina Kantartzis

My key areas of interests involve child development, language, well being and mental health.

Biography

I completed my undergraduate and PhD at the University of Birmingham, investigating Sound Symbolism and word learning. I have worked across a number of institutions including BCU, Aston, and of course Gloucestershire.
I am passionate about teaching Developmental psychology as an applied disciplined. I also teach Educational psychology, and focus on helping students develop their own sense of self in their learning through reflection and theory.

My research has branched out into postnatal mental health and I am working closely with charities such as HomeStart.
