Dr Lynsay Cooper

Lecturer In Biomedical Science

I have a wide range of interests and experience in studying the structure-function relationship of glycosaminoglycans like heparin and heparan sulphate in diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease.

Biography

As a Lecturer in Biomedical Science, I teach modules across the Biomedical Science course, Animal Biology, and Biology Undergraduate programs.

My current research interests mainly focus on the action of glycosaminoglycans and their analogues in disease systems, and the potential of these molecules to be developed into therapeutics.
