Applying for a postgraduate degree

Applying for a postgraduate degree is different for each type of degree

Taught and Professional courses

Apply online for postgraduate taught and professional courses by using the ‘Apply Now’ option via the relevant course page. If you wish to take one or more modules as a ‘taster’ of postgraduate study, you should apply as an associate student.

If you are an international student and have any queries about submitting an application, please get in touch with the international team.

PGCE courses

PGCE applications are made through Gov.uk (Apply). E​arly application is advised, please contact teache​rtraining@glos.​ac.uk if you have any questions.

Research degrees

You can apply online for a postgraduate research degree, read more about applying for a research degree.

Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL)

If you already have a relevant postgraduate qualification or equivalent, you may be able to claim some credit for your previous learning. Please contact us if you have any queries about your qualifications or eligibility, or about arrangements for claiming credit for previous postgraduate learning.
