In the sports industry, students have secured roles with elite clubs like Cheltenham Town FC in Performance Analysis, as well as Bristol City FC and Bristol Bears, gaining hands-on insight into professional environments.
Exercise placements span from local schools to cutting-edge health initiatives, including working in cardiac rehabilitation, where students apply their knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
In research, opportunities are diverse, with students contributing to projects at leading institutions, including placements at Hawk-Eye, where they engage with advanced performance tracking technology.

Learning here is hands-on and immersive, with practical experiences woven into every level. At level 4, students engage in heart dissections and blood sampling, laying the foundation for applied learning. In biomechanics, they explore 3D motion analysis, while our environmental chamber simulates exercising at Everest’s extreme temperatures and altitude.
Physiology sessions include cold water immersion experiments, and at level 6, students tackle athlete testing, performance monitoring, and big data analysis. From the classroom to the lab, every experience is designed to develop real-world skills, ensuring our graduates are prepared for whatever comes next.
