Biography

Stuart’s entire career has been focused on working with high tech startup businesses which includes joining Oracle when it was first set up in the UK. After being both part of and advisor to a number of high growth software and services firms, he founded FinTech West in 2018 which is now the representative body for FinTech in the South West and part of the FinTech National Network.

FinTech West operates a non-membership, open community to over 3000 people. Stuart is also part of the Senior Leadership Team for the recently awarded £1.8m ESRC funded “Future Finance” project led by the University of Bristol and heavily involved with a number of programmes for the benefit of UK FinTech such as the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT).

He’s passionate about facilitating the regional cluster growth and working with the community to drive social impact and financial inclusion.
