Cyber, computing & games technologies

Beyond tech

The people behind the machines

At the heart of our courses are our people. We know it takes more than just tech to inspire the next generation of cyber, computing and games experts.

That’s why our courses focus on the people not just machines and why our graduates earn coveted roles in the industry.

Put your skills into action

“One of the things that I really like about the course is the number of practical sessions that there are. These enable you to get really hands-on, so we’re not just learning from a textbook, we’re putting our skills into practice.”

Cyber hub

Gloucestershire is fast becoming known as the ‘cyber capital of the UK’, with many companies choosing our county as their base.

This makes Gloucestershire the perfect location to study and gain experience, through placements, internships and industry links.

We are linked with Raytheon, GE Aviation, Neon Play, Sumo Digital, Team 17, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Gloucester Constabulary and CGI.

“Without the university working with Raytheon, I would never have found the job I have right now. I was awarded a £3,500 bursary from Raytheon for my dissertation and a job offer.”
