Designed especially for students thinking about joining us through the Clearing process.
Our Clearing Visit Day has now passed. You can still come to visit us before September by joining one of our weekly campus visits which take place at Oxstalls, City, Park and Francis Close Hall (FCH) campuses on various dates until 26 August.
These tours are led by our friendly student ambassadors and are a great way to explore the campus and view some of our remaining accommodation options.

Clearing 2026 Visit Day
If you’re joining us through Clearing, come to our Clearing Visit Day to get a real feel for life at UoG.
Saturday 15 August, 11am – 1.30pm – Cheltenham and Gloucester campuses.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Apply, and get your offer on the day
- Meet academic staff and support teams
- Take a student-led campus tour
- Explore our accommodation options
- Ask any questions you have about applying through Clearing
Can’t make the main visit day?
We’re also running a campus visit on Friday 14 August at Oxstalls, City, Park and Francis Close Hall campuses, plus more opportunities from 17 to 26 August.
Our campuses

Making it easier to get here
We understand that travel costs can be a barrier, especially with the rising cost of living. To help make your visit easier and more affordable, we’re offering support with your journey to our Clearing Visit day and weekly visits including Friday 14 August and further opportunities from Monday 17 August to Friday 21 August.
£50 towards your travel costs for the day for eligible visitors

Yes please, booking is important so we can plan your visit.
Yes, parking will be free at Oxstalls, Francis Close Hall (FCH), and Park Campus. You will see pay-and-display machines, but you will not need to use them on the day. If you have accessibility requirements and would like to reserve a parking bay, please contact [email protected]. Our accessible spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, but we can reserve generic spaces closer to the ‘hub’ area.
There’s limited parking on-site at Francis Close Hall, so we recommend you head to the Prince of Wales Stadium, Tommy Taylors Lane, Cheltenham, GL50 4RN which is a 10-minute walk from campus – parking will also be free here.
If you’re visiting City Campus, we recommend parking at Kings Walk Car Park, Gloucester, GL1 1EA, Hare Lane South Car Park, Gloucester, GL1 2DA or Eastgate Shopping Centre Car Park, 2-9 Bell Ln, Gloucester, GL1 1TH.
Academics will be available between 11.45am – 12.45pm to speak with you about your course of interest.
You don’t need much, just comfortable shoes for walking and any questions you might have about courses, accommodation, or student life.
You are welcome to bring a guest or two or attend on your own – whichever you feel most comfortable doing.
