Health and Social Care (Practice Leadership)

This course is designed to develop confident, forward-thinking leaders who can drive improvement, influence practice, and shape services across a wide range of health and social care contexts.

This programme supports you to build the knowledge, skills, and professional confidence required to lead practice effectively, focusing on person-centred care, service quality, and workforce development.

This part-time, blended programme combines academic study with work-based learning, allowing you to apply theory directly to your professional context. You’ll explore how learning in practice can enhance patient and service-user outcomes, while developing your ability to facilitate inclusive, person-centred and evidence-informed care.

Throughout the course, you’ll develop the ability to critically reflect on practice, make informed and ethical decisions, and apply evidence-based approaches to improve outcomes for individuals, communities, and services.
