Would I recommend the MA course? Absolutely!

Charlie Agnew is a recent graduate of UoG’s MA Sports Communications and Digital Media course.

“While on the course, I managed to get a part-time gig in a sports PR and marketing agency, where I now work full time.

“Within my first year of working, I’ve managed to work with players such as Roberto Carlos and sports brands such as Castore and Copa 90.

“I wouldn’t have been able to get my foot through the door without the course. The lecturers are super down to earth and they’re happy to chat about everything from your coursework to the football score at the weekend!

“The course teaches you a lot. It covers important theory but also lots of practical stuff, including everything from creating event day content to full blown PR campaigns.

“If you’re proactive enough in finding work outside of the course, the lecturers are on hand to help you and steer you in the right direction, with their advice and awesome connections.”
