Chestnuts roasting on open fires, jack frost nipping at heels and Christmas jumpers – but how does the natural world deal with the onset of winter?  

In this winter-inspired Living Room Lecture, Professor Adam Hart will explore the many ways that animals deal with the challenges of a chilly festive season. 

Professor Adam Hart is a writer and broadcaster with a passion for all aspects of biology, and a particular interest in social insects such as ants and bees, and large-scale citizen science projects.
