We offer part-time course options for many of our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. Although some professional courses (including nursing) require full-time study, the majority of our programmes can be studied part-time.
Studying part-time gives you the benefit of gaining a qualification while balancing other commitments.
Most learners studying part-time for an undergraduate degree normally take between 4 and 7 years to complete the course.
Study the same course content as full-time students but over a longer time and with fewer hours per week in the classroom.
Balance work or other commitments around your studies.

Tuition fee loans are also available to many part-time students. To determine if you qualify you will need to confirm how many modules you will be studying during one academic year.
Each module is worth a certain number of credits (eg 15 or 30 credits) and the amount you undertake in a year will be known as ‘course intensity’. This relates to how much of the course you complete compared to an equivalent full-time course and this must be 25% or more to apply for a loan.
