C.26.28 Welcome, Apologies and Quorum
C.26.28.1 Noted: apologies for absence from Ruth Dooley, Ingrid Barker and Rt Revd Robert Springett. The Chair confirmed that the meeting had been convened in accordance with the University’s Articles of Association and that the meeting was quorate. The Chair set out the purpose and business of the meeting, namely to consider whether the new loan agreement was for the commercial benefit of the University, and if so, to authorise entry into the agreement, and to delegate appropriate authorities to enter the contracts.

C.36.31.1 Noted: that Dr Matthew Andrews would sadly be leaving the University to take up role at the University of Hertfordshire. The Chair noted that there would be time to celebrate Matthew’s achievements and to say farewell before he left, and that the news should remain confidential until an announcement was made to staff on 10 March 2026.
