Access and Widening Participation

Last updated: 9 November 2022

Introduction

University of Gloucestershire is committed to ensuring that all students can access their studies and training with us, regardless of socioeconomic background, ethic group, disability or age.

We have a longstanding tradition of fair and transparent access, student support for success and progression to a meaningful relevant career or further study.
We are proud to be a diverse, vibrant community of 12,000 students and 1,500 staff with campuses in Cheltenham and Gloucester and academic partnerships with institutions around the world.

This page has links to resources and examples of our work including our Access and Participation Plan, approved by the Office for Students (OfS). The plan is monitored by the Fair Access Committee, which also shares good practice and promotes evaluation and analysis of our work.

Recent relevant examples of Access and Widening Participation Research and Evaluation across the University will be uploaded and shared during 2022 and beyond.
