We are able to provide degree verification including replacement certificates, transcripts and verification letters for former students of the university, including those who graduated before 2001 in some circumstances.

If you graduated from 2001 to present, your award will have been awarded by University of Gloucestershire.
We can provide you with the following documentation if you were awarded during this time:
If you studied at University of Gloucestershire and have lost your original certificate, we can provide a replacement certificate for £35.
Only one copy of your certificate may exist at any one time. If you still have your original certificate but need an additional copy, you may wish to purchase a ‘Certified Copy’ instead (please see below).

A ‘University transcript’ is a copy of your official stamped transcript of module results for students who graduated from University of Gloucestershire.

A verification letter will confirm all of the details of your award on official, stamped headed paper, including your attendance dates.

A ‘Certified Copy’ is a stamped and signed photocopy of your official award certificate, to certify it as a true representation.
As only one official award certificate is permitted to be in circulation at any one time, you will need to send a digital/photocopy of your original certificate to us so that we can verify it as a true representation and return it to you.
If you are applying to the World Educational Services (in USA or Canada), we can provide your transcript to WES as part of your application.
You will need to provide us with your WES reference number, and we will email WES with an official stamped transcript for any modules we hold on record. If you have studied with a partner institution, they will need to provide their transcripts to WES directly as well.

If you need verification of a teacher training course which led to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), you can download a copy of your QTS certificate from the Teaching Regulation Agency’s Teacher Self Service Portal.
Such awards include BEd Primary, PGCE Primary and PGCE Secondary (including School Direct routes) and Assessment Only Route or Assessment Based Option Route.
Graduates who undertook either Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) leading to QTS can download a copy of their QTS certificate from the Gov.uk website.

If you graduated before 2001, your award will have been from the Cheltenham and Gloucester College of Higher Education or any of the colleges which merged to form University of Gloucestershire.

University of Gloucestershire is only able to provide academic (not personal) references, and we use the Higher Education Degree Data check (HEDD) online verification service, for employers and agencies to verify University of Gloucestershire awards.
To make an enquiry you need to register with HEDD by visiting www.hedd.ac.uk. Choose ‘University of Gloucestershire’ from the list of UK higher education institutions and select the option to ‘verify a degree award’.
There is a charge of £12 per enquiry, and you will also be required to upload a consent form.
Yo make an enquiry you will need the individual’s name, date of birth, course and qualification. For graduates, you’ll also need their year of graduation and degree result.
If you require dates of attendance, please request this at the time of making the enquiry. We recommend that you ask to see the degree certificate if there is one, and use that as the basis of your verification enquiry, or ask individuals to give you their data as they believe it’s recorded in the student records system.
