​​The University of Gloucestershire welcomes students from all around the world and, as such, we have international representatives based in many countries all over the globe. We also run events in different countries around the world, giving you the opportunity to find out more about the University and what studying in the UK entails. We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your qualifications equate to in the UK education system. Our country-specific information should help you decide which level of study is most appropriate for you.

Entry requirements  

Undergraduate (Bachelors)
  • Pass the Brandos Atestatas (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) with an overall score of 7. Applicants with either 75% in Brandos Atestatos state exam or 8 out of 10 from English as a subject will be exempt from IELTS. Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements. Applicants are advised to check the course page, and/or conditions stated in the offer letter.
Postgraduate (Masters)
  • Successful completion of Bakalauras (Bachelors degree) with grade 7. Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements. Applicants are advised to check the course page, and/or conditions stated in the offer letter.
Postgraduate (Research)
  • MRes applicants must have successfully completed a 3 or 4 year Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent. For Doctorate and PhD admission, applicants must have successfully completed a master's degree with a good grade in a related subject field or hold relevant work experience. In addition some programmes may require work experience and/or a strong portfolio of work. Applicants are expected to submit a research proposal.
