Entry requirements
We understand that it can sometimes be difficult to work out what your qualifications match with in the UK education system, so the following country-specific information should help you decide which level of study is most appropriate for you.
- Standard XII from a recognised board with a minimum 50% or above
English Language Requirements: one of the following;
- IELTS 6.0 overall (no component below 5.5)
- 70% or above in English in Standard XII (passed within last 5 years) from any of these boards – CISCE, CBSE, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal.
- Any other recognised English test
Academic Requirements:
- Completion of Standard XII from a recognised board with a minimum of 65%.
English Language Requirements: one of the following;
- IELTS 6.0 overall (no component below 5.5)
- 70% or above in English in Standard XII (passed within last 5 years) from any of these boards – CISCE, CBSE, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, West Bengal.
- Any other recognised English test

Academic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with 55% or above (minimum 3 years degree)
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS 6.0 overall (no component below 5.5)
- English Language Medium of Instruction (MOI) Letter from one of the top 100 Indian universities listed on the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) NIRF. The degree must have been completed within last 10 years
- Any other recognised English test

Academic Requirements:
- Master by Research
- Bachelor’s degree with 55% or above (minimum 3 years degree)
- Some courses require detailed research proposal of no more than 1000 words. Kindly refer to individual course page.
- Doctorate and PhD
- A master’s degree in a related subject field with minimum 55% or relevant work experience.
- A detailed research proposal of no more than 1000 words or an academic writing
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS 6.5 overall (Writing – 6.0, other three components 5.5)
- English Language Medium of Instruction (MOI) Letter from one of the top 100 Indian universities listed on the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) NIRF. The degree must have been completed within last 10 years
- Any other recognised English test
