Your Clearing offer
If you’ve been made a provisional offer at UoG during Clearing, you’ll need to know what to do next.
We’ve put together this easy step-by-step guide to help navigate you through this process.
Here’s What you need to do in six easy steps
Still looking? If you haven’t yet received a Clearing offer then you can discover our Clearing courses online and get in touch to see if we can offer you a place.
1. Accept your offer
Log into the UCAS Hub to add UoG as your Clearing Choice. You’ll need the course code (see the relevant course page) and the institution code (G50). Once we confirm your choice, your status will appear as ‘Unconditional Firm’ with UoG and you will receive an email from UCAS confirming this. Please note that for some courses, you’ll require further clearance checks before your offer is confirmed.
If you still hold a firm unconditional place with a different university, you’ll need to ‘Decline your place’ in your application.
If you need help during this process, get in touch by calling 03330 432 414 or get in touch via live chat on our website.
2. Arrange student finance
If you’ve not applied for student finance yet, you can apply on the government website.
If you’ve already applied and your course or university has changed during Clearing, log into your account to change your details.
Visit your Funding page for information and guidance about fees, loans and finance for UK-based students.
3. Visit us
Get a feel for student life at UoG during a campus visit.
We’re running weekly tours from 9 July until 27 August. Our student ambassadors will show you round and answer any questions you might have.
Alternatively, you can take virtual tour of our facilities and accommodation online.
4. Apply for accommodation
We’ll guarantee you a place in halls on, or near to the campus you’re studying at if you accept a place through Clearing.
We have around 1,900 self-catered rooms available in halls on or near our campuses – each are close to the centre of Cheltenham or Gloucester and served by the university bus service. See inside by taking our virtual tour.
