1. Apply online

Full-time courses

Applications for full-time courses are made via UCAS. You’ll need the information below:

31 January 2024 is the main UCAS deadline for applying to most undergraduate courses that start in September but we will still accept applications after this deadline (subject to availability of places). Contact the admissions team: [email protected] or call 03330 141414.

If you wish to take a gap year or defer your place, make sure you clearly indicate this on your UCAS application.

Part-time and professional courses

Applications for part-time and professional courses are made directly via the course page. Find out more about applying for part-time and professional courses.

International applicants

International students should apply via UCAS by 30 June. Please note that international applicants can apply for full-time courses only.

If you’re applying for a course and are unsure whether you meet the entry requirements, please contact the admissions team.

2. Wait to hear from us

UCAS will carry out their checks and they will then send your application to us. Our Admissions team will look at your application in detail, assessing your qualifications and personal statement.

3. Attend an interview (if required)

Some courses require an interview, audition or equivalent which is designed to be a positive experience.

4. Your offer

Once we’ve received your application and you’ve attended an interview (if required) we’ll let you know if we can make you an offer. You will either receive a conditional or unconditional offer – find out more about your offer.

5. Visit us

If you’ve not visited us already, book onto one of our open days or campus visits for a chance to get a feel for the place.

Alternatively, you can take virtual tour of our facilities and accommodation.

6. Accepting your offer

For full-time courses, log into UCAS to accept your offer. For part-time courses, you’ll need to accept your offer via the UoG applicant portal (see your offer letter for details). We’ll be in touch if we need any further information. To accept your offer of a place at UoG, you must agree to the Student Contract.
