A short walk from the railway station is Gloucester city centre and the Gloucester transport hub where you can catch the number 94 Stagecoach bus service. It stops on Cheltenham Road, opposite the campus.

It would be useful to bring a notepad and pen, phone or laptop in case you want to make any notes. For Physical Education, Sport, Coaching and Physical Education or Sports Performance, please also bring sports kit with you for your interactive session. For Sports Performance, please ensure you bring trainers that are suitable for 3G pitches and indoor use.
Yes – you can bring up to two guests. There will be a Q&A session held for them while you’re in your course taster session.
Scheduled activities finish at 2pm or 2.15pm (depending on which course you hold an offer for), with the opportunity to view accommodation and tour the campus from 2pm onwards.
Yes, we’ll have complimentary welcome drinks. Refectories will be open at Oxstalls Campus if you’d like to buy lunch or snacks, or feel free to bring something with you; there are plenty of tables and benches for you to eat at.
Yes, you’ll be able to view our accommodation options during this event. Both onsite and offsite options (Blackfriars* & Upper Quay in the city centre) will be available to view until 5pm.

Car parking spaces are limited at FCH, so, on 1 March, we recommend you park at the Prince of Wales Stadium (GL50 4RN), which is a 5-minute walk to campus. On 21 March, we recommend you park at the Park and Ride and Cheltenham Racecourse. Use Service D or E to Holy Trinity Church which is a ten minute walk from Francis Close Hall campus.
