Entry Requirements  

Undergraduate (Bachelors)
  • Successful completion of High School Diploma plus completion of a recognised foundation course. Or, successfully complete 2 years of university study with an average of 50% Associate Degree with overall Pass or applicants with an HNC, level 4 (NCC) or ABE Level 4 Diploma will be considered for entry to Year 1 (level 4). Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements. Applicants are advised to check the course page, and/or conditions stated in the offer letter.
Postgraduate (Masters)
  • Successful completion of 4 year Bachelors honours degree with an average of 60%. Or, completion of a Postgraduate Diploma with an average of 60%. Please note that some courses may require higher entry requirements. Applicants are advised to check the course page, and/or conditions stated in the offer letter.
Postgraduate (Research)
  • MRes applicants must have successfully completed a 3 or 4 year Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent. For Doctorate and PhD admission, applicants must have successfully completed a master's degree with a good grade in a related subject field or hold relevant work experience. In addition some programmes may require work experience and/or a strong portfolio of work. Applicants are expected to submit a research proposal. ​

What I like the best about my course are my lecturers. Their engagement with us is really fantastic and they are always ready to help us. They encourage us to think of creative ideas and help us to be out-spoken. They always give us a chance to discuss what we think about and if there is any gap, they try to connect the ideas together. After the lectures, I feel like I become stronger and more confident and ready to face the challenges of the real world and my career. Most of the lecture topics are really interesting and link up with real world scenarios and the lecturer’s work-life practical experience, which is really good and interesting.

I like everything about UoG! I love all the people in all three campuses, librarians, receptionists, Helpzone advisors, refectory staff, security, etc. They all are very friendly and understanding. UoG is just an amazing place and I feel lucky and happy I came here!!
