Whether you couldn’t make one of our offer holder days, or you’re thinking about applying to start in September 2026 or January 2027*, come along to our Campus Visit to see if UoG is the right fit for you.
*Paramedic Science and Operating Department Practitioner courses only have a January start date.
What to expect
You’ll have the chance to:

- Find out what it’s like to be a student at UoG and what a typical day would look like
- Chat to our finance, accommodation and admissions teams who will be on hand to answer any questions.
- Most importantly, find out if UoG is the right university for you.

Your day
Check your reminder email to see which campus you need to head to, either Oxstalls or City Campus in Gloucester, or Park or Francis Close Hall Campus in Cheltenham.
Different campuses have different parking/travel options, so be sure to check your reminder email for more detailed information, or check our FAQs.
Check in at reception at your campus.
City Campus in Gloucester – head to Reception when you arrive.
Oxstalls Campus in Gloucester – head to the Business School reception when you arrive.
Francis Close Hall Campus in Cheltenham – head to Chapel when you arrive.
Park Campus in Cheltenham – head to Elwes reception when you arrive.

Chat to our friendly admissions, accommodation, money and disability support teams about anything you need, from UCAS application support through to budgeting advice.
Meet our lecturers, explore the modules you’ll be studying and get a flavour of the different learning methods and styles you’ll use.
Take an optional tour of the campus where you’ll be studying, plus you can have a look at our accommodation options.
You’ll be shown round by a student ambassador who’ll tell you what it’s like to live on/off-campus and answer any questions you might have. Our off-site accommodation options will be open to view until 4pm.

FAQs
City Campus
As City Campus is in the centre of Gloucester, there is no on-site parking. The nearest public car park is Kings Walk, Gloucester. Waterwells Park & Ride also operates daily to the centre of Gloucester and is conveniently situated near to Junction 12 of the M5. See a full list of Gloucester car parks.
Oxstalls Campus
Parking will be free on the day for all visitors in our Oxstalls Campus car park (GL2 9HW). You will see pay-and-display machines but you won’t need to use them. Please email [email protected] if you need to reserve an accessible parking space.
Francis Close Hall Campus
Parking will be free on the day for all visitors at Francis Close Hall (FCH), but parking is very limited. Instead there is free parking at the Prince of Wales stadium carpark (GL50 4RN), which is only a five-minute walk from FCH Campus. If you do park on campus, you will see pay-and-display machines but you won’t need to use them. Please email [email protected] if you need to reserve an accessible parking space.
Alternatively, the nearest public car parks are West End Car Park, High Street Car Park and NCP Brewery Quarter.
Park Campus
Parking will be free on the day for all visitors in our Park Campus main car park (GL50 2RX). You will see pay-and-display machines but you won’t need to use them. Please email [email protected] if you need to reserve an accessible parking space.
City Campus in Gloucester – head to Reception when you arrive.

Yes – you can bring up to two guests.
You don’t need much. It would be useful to bring a notepad and pen, phone or laptop in case you want to make any notes.
Yes, accommodation will be available to view for each campus.
City Campus
You’ll be able to view our accommodation off-site at Blackfriars and Upper Quay (both in Gloucester city centre).
Oxstalls Campus
You’ll be able to view our accommodation both on-site at Oxstalls and off-site at Blackfriars and Upper Quay (both in Gloucester city centre).
Francis Close Hall Campus
You’ll be able to view our off-site accommodation at Pittville Student Village.
Park Campus
You’ll be able to view our accommodation both on-site at Park and off-site at Pittville Student Village.
