Funding options for international students at University of Gloucestershire….
All the information you need to apply to University of Gloucestershire.
As an International Recruitment Manager with a decade of experience in higher education, I bring a wealth of expertise and a passion for creating and fostering global connections. One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is the opportunity to engage with students from various cultural backgrounds to talk to them about University of Gloucestershire. Having studied abroad myself, I am also able to share my experiences with prospective students and their families and how UoG can support them while they are here.

The University of Gloucestershire is delighted to be approved for tuition benefits through Veterans Affairs/GI Bill, and therefore able to support the further education goals of eligible service members. In order to use VA funding there is a course (degree programme) level application that must be completed, and documentation to complete. Our Americas Manager is here to help with this process and welcome US vets to Gloucestershire.
We are not a FAFSA-enabled institution, which means that we cannot process federal loans, grants or work-study.
We are, however, able to accept students who are self-funded or who fund their tuition with loans from private lenders, such as Sallie Mae or recognised banks/credit unions. The money must be given directly to the student, who can then pay the university.
Independent scholarship and grant awards may be used to fund study at the University of Gloucestershire as well. If you are eligible for an award and want to check that we can accept it, please contact us by email at [email protected]. Sponsored students can find out more about payment details by visiting our How to pay page.
Local agents offer you support in your own country and language, helping you with your application, student visa, logistical considerations and questions about studying in the UK. These services are typically free of charge and can make the whole process easier.
