Our applied research in Engineering Technologies enables us to provide rich research opportunities at all levels from undergraduate right through to PhD. We share a vision with our industry partners to have our students fully engaged in real applied research​ project/problem-based learning​ that breaks the boundaries of current knowledge and understanding. ​​

​Engineering Technologies (MSc by Research / MRes / PhD)​

Our ​Engineering Technologies research degree​ gives you the option to undertake your own piece of unique research from across a range of topics including computing, software development, e-business and app development. You'll finish with a Master's or PhD based on a solid foundation of experience and expertise that will open the door to work in full-time research or teaching, or provide a greater understanding of professional practice.​
