I’m doing a business support placement for Oberthur Technologies.
I never realised how many theories are used in real-world business. Learning at the University of Gloucestershire is about much more than ‘sitting in a classroom and learning theories’. We do heaps of practical work like digital business simulations. My lecturers have a lot of business experience. It makes learning fascinating and it’s really helped in my placement role.
"The vast number of placements was simply outstanding." Andrew Shelton, Graduate

Hear from Daniela Istrati, a fast-track business management student:
"I am currently studying Business Management (fast-track). It’s an amazing course! I absolutely love the teachers and my tutor - they’re all so helpful. I started the course age 21 and decided to come to study in the UK after beginning university in Europe. The induction week was really good, lots of helpful tips and I loved that we got to meet the tutors and teachers on the first day. I liked that the university helps students get jobs in reputable companies from the very first year."
