With over 80 activities to choose from, play your part in sports.

We offer an array of opportunities for you to get involved with outside your learning. With over 80 activities to choose from, you will discover new opportunities and passions, make life-long friends, and develop new skills for your CV which will help you when you graduate.

Gloucestershire is a great place to lead an active lifestyle. Whether you’re studying a sports-related subject or a completely different course, we run a unique recreational sports participation programme which is open to all our students so that everyone can lead a more active lifestyle.

You don’t have to be an expert to take part. We have qualified coaches and instructors on hand to ensure that everyone feels welcome at our introductory sessions. Once you’re hooked we aim to keep you playing, by offering high quality, properly supervised and enjoyable sports provision where everyone is welcome.

In all of our activities there are opportunities to ‘step in’ as a beginner for the first time, to play regularly and compete in our leagues and festivals. If you find you want to push yourself harder, it’s a simple step towards participating at BUCS (British Universities and Colleges Sport) level, or you can keep playing for fun with friends.
