Applicants should possess an HND, Diploma of Higher Education or Foundation degree.
The Applied Sport and Exercise Studies Level 6 top-up is designed to assist your transition into employment, preparing you to work in education (including a PGCE), community and coaching environments – graduating with a full honours degree after one year. You will learn about the impact of sport on people’s lives, in schools, communities and wider society.
While taking part in placement and working on your own professional development, you will be encouraged to become an inclusive practitioner with a good awareness of equity, equality and diversity in the sports sector. Exploring contemporary issues in sport, you will develop skills in problem solving, critical thinking and research.
You’ll join a university where sport is part of the fabric. Be it the extensive and accessible wellbeing and research facilities at the purpose-built Oxstalls campus, the range of sports scholarship packages or the huge array of clubs – sport is a huge part of life at University of Gloucestershire.
To support your Undergraduate journey, there are also fee waivers, bursaries and awards available for both UK and International students.
At the end, as a University of Gloucestershire graduate, you can choose to pursue a sports-related postgraduate course, receiving a priority offer and a 20% fee discount.
Applicants should possess an HND, Diploma of Higher Education or Foundation degree.
