Trips
Part of the student experience involves stepping out of the classroom and learning more about how marketing works in various settings or contexts.
Students have visited London to attend the Marketing Expo’s, Milan to see luxury fashion in action, and Barcelona to learn about the rich culture and marketplaces. Additional trips have included visiting Malaysia to participate in a student sustainability conference, and France to share research practice.
Destinations and activities will vary depending on demand.
Experiences
Practical and experiential learning are the defining features of this research-informed joint degree. You can expect applied assessments and direct collaborations with local and national organisations, frequently interacting with industry leaders and alumni during guest lectures.
A standout experience is where alumni return to work alongside current students to address live corporate problems and explore new enterprise opportunities, giving your CV a boost, ready for when you graduate.
Join the Marketing Society and collaborate with local businesses in Gloucestershire to offer free help and advice on various marketing issues. It’s also a great way to meet and network with professional marketers and others on your course.
